Merry Christmas To All
I cannot think of a better photo to share with you today than this one shot at a bakery in the Marais six months ago. Eye candy? Yes! Too bad we rarely associate strawberry desserts with Christmas here in Wisconsin.
I hope you had a wonderful day Mimi. We had a wonderful surprise when we woke up this morning...SNOW. A white Christmas!! It snowed most of the day. It was supposed to be flurries with up to 2 inches but we have at least 6. It doesn't snow very often on Christmas day so it was a special delight.
Big time eye-candy and what a beautiful display which only the French could create! Our strawberries are in season now....beautiful photo! I am missing Paris this time of year, too....

Merry Christmas to you, Mimi! What an awesome picture.
The tourtiere was a success last night! Thanks for your inspiration. I will post later.
MaryRuth, joyeux Noel to you and votre famille.
I look forward to hearing about your tourtiere.
Beautiful! We don't really do strawberries at Christmas here in Rhode Island either! Hope your day has been festive.
Great color for Christmas and HOW appropriate!
(Drooling for some of those Parisian pastries right now!)
Hi Lydia! How was your day? It is gloomy here, but no snow since Sunday when we did not even leave the house.
Hi Anonymous - those pastries make me drool, too.

It rarely snows on Christmas here, too, Judy - too bad, because that would be lovely. In recent years, we have not had much snow in December.
It's lovely no matter what, though, when you are with those you love - I know that sounds a bit corny, but it is true...
What wonderful eye candy :)
We definitely do strawberries down under at Christmas time.
I hope you enjoyed your Christmas.
Fiona.
Lucky Kiwis! Strawberries would be wonderful at Christmas.
Of course, we do chocolate.
Mimi,
Merry Christmas to you! I hope that you have a magical year ahead of you. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Blessings -
Kristen
Mimi,
A little late, but Joyeux Noel to you, too!

Thanks, Kristen. I am so happy your blog is getting the recognition it deserves.
Chris, it is never too late! This is a week of celebrations at our house, as we mark 18 years of marriage on Friday.
Jann, aren't those desserts to die for? I love your eggnog recipe - oh my!
