How beautiful, Mimi!! I've got one from today's farmers market going up also. Might as well put up photos of food even though I'm still not cooking much. Hope to remedy that soon.
Your headline reminds me of a cool promotional item a commercial photographer gave to clients when I worked at an ad agency in St. Louis. It was a baseball cap that said, "A picture's worth a thousand bucks." This was long before The Family Guy co-opted the line. Great photo, Mimi. I'm sure wonderfulness will come of the contents of that box.
I love it!!! It all looks so pretty. I love cooking pretty food. Sometimes I don't like cutting into a perfect pepper or tomato or squash but I just think how good it will be after it is cooked and beautiful in a different way.
Wow... beautiful squashes! I do love all kinds of squash. Is that spaghetti squash (bottom left?) My dad grew a few of those a couple of years back, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. How lucky you are!
Judy, I know exactly what you mean. I love the colors on that tomato!
Christi, that does look like a spaghetti squash, but it's just a large yellow summer squash. I like squash of all kinds because it pairs so well with so many other vegetables.
Hello, just found your site...I must say I love it....as I am married to a Brit., I love the 'idea' of visiting places and the 'feeling of it'. What is the CSA box??

Ditto, Christine!
Thanks, TerryB. I guess my stint in the ad agency world influences me still. Mad Men, anyone?

Hi Jann! Good to see you back!
I got another huge box today! I'm thinking it's ratatouille time.
Mais que de couleurs! Joli tableau.
Nice colors.
Merci, Anne.
J'adore les couleurs, aussi.
