One of the Most Beautiful Villages in France

Late summer in La Roque-Gageac. Deep winter where I live. Nuff said.

P.S. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

I had to click on the photo, just to get a closer look at anything with greenery and flowers! Beautiful!
It's comin' our way soon, Mimi....just around the proverbial corner!

It is lovely when you click on it, Cyn. It has a micro climate, so while it was about 65 when we left the Lot Valley, it was about 8-10 degrees warmer in La Roque.

It seemed to take forever to get there... but the Dordogne was so green.

Beautiful, I miss the streets of France. Food in the windows... pastries galore!

DMCAL, love your moniker.

But I agree with you.

It's beautiful, Mimi. I love it because it's so old, which is so very opposite of southern California, and so much more like the east coast where I grew up.

Toni, I have always loved old, but the older I get, the more I love it. So much more serene!
